Welcome to Beacon Kentucky.

Beacon Kentucky is an affiliate of Beacon Fellowship, an interfaith ministry that promotes diversity and works for social justice in Kentucky and Ohio thru Education and Advocacy. We also strive to serve as a strong voice for people of faith who support equality, fairness, and social justice for GLBT people. 

On this site you will find the "2008 Kentucky GLBT Faith Communities Resource Guide", a unique online resource that  features information about churches and religious groups that are welcoming, affirming, and inclusive of GLBT people. Although still a work in progress, we envision that the Guide will quickly become a valuable resource for all communities. There's also a calendar of events, action alerts, and pages that focus on social justice issues.
